Rank Tester is an AI-powered competitive exam preparation and gamified learning platform (covering UPSC, SSC, NEET, JEE, Railway, State PSCs, and other competitive examinations). By using our application or website, you consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

We collect information directly from you when you register, log in, or interact with our learning tools:

• Account & Profile Information: When you create an account, we collect your Name, Email Address, Profile Photo (optional), Username, and Exam Study Goals.
• Academic & Study Data: Test attempt history, subject choices, question responses, time spent per question, streak counters, daily quest progress, and RPG Level/XP scores.
• AI Study Coach Queries: Text inputs and doubt prompts submitted to our AI Study Coach to generate explanations and educational posts.
• Community & Messaging Data: Peer brainstorm posts, comments, likes, connection requests with batchmates, and direct chat messages exchanged within the app.
• Payment Information: When purchasing test credits or book access, transactions are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers.
• Device & Log Data: Basic technical logs such as IP address, operating system, app version, and crash reports to maintain app performance.

We use the collected information for legitimate educational and technical purposes, including:

• Providing personalized AI-generated mock tests and subject practice questions matched to your exam syllabus.
• Calculating RPG level progression, XP points, streaks, badges, and leaderboard rankings.
• Facilitating peer-to-peer discussions, educational short posts, and direct student messaging.
• Processing in-app purchases, credit deductions, and subscription access securely via payment gateways.
• Sending essential notification updates, such as exam updates, streak reminders, and connection requests.
• Preventing fraud, unauthorized access, and ensuring compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.

To provide high-quality learning experiences, Rank Tester integrates with trusted third-party providers:

• Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication, Firestore database storage, and Cloud Storage for media assets.
• Google Gemini AI API: Used strictly for generating educational syllabus questions, automated explanations, and AI tutor doubt resolution. Personal identifiers are never sold or used for public AI training.
• Razorpay Payment Gateway: Used for processing PCI-DSS compliant payment transactions for test credits and study materials.
• OneSignal Push Notifications: Used to deliver timely exam alerts and study streak updates.

We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal data:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS (HTTPS) protocols.
• Database Access Controls: Firestore Security Rules enforce strict permission checks, ensuring users can only read and write data they are authorized to access.

You have full control over your personal data:

• Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile info, username, and study goals directly inside the app settings.

• Upon receiving your request, all personal records associated with your account will be permanently erased from our active databases within 30 days.

Rank Tester is designed for students, job aspirants, and competitive examination candidates (typically aged 13 and above). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
